Denver Horn and
Megan Van Harn did one last attempt to qualify for the NAIA National Championships Saturday afternoon at the Sam Williams Twilight Qualifier. Horn was .02 away from the NAIA "B" Standard for long jump.
Horn placed fourth in the long jump with a 7.08-meter jump, coming up just .02-meters short of the NAIA "B" Standard and putting himself second in the WWU record book. He threw 48.04-meters in the javelin, placing fourth in the WWU record book.
Van Harn competed in javelin, hurdles and shot put. She threw 32.56-meters in the javelin and 12.04-meters in the shot put. She finished eighth in the 100-meter hurdles with a 15.77.
