MONMOUTH, Ill. – William Woods University track and field's Denver Horn and Megan Van Harn competed at the Monmouth College Fighting Scots Outdoor Invitational on Saturday, May 4.
 
Horn grabbed two wins at the meet. He won the long jump with a 6.89-meter jump and the javelin with a 50.02-meter throw. His javelin throw placed him second in the WWU record book. 
 
Van Harn grabbed a first place in the shot put with a 12.45-meter mark, putting her second in the WWU record book. She placed second in the javelin with a 35.94-meter throw, and in the long jump, she placed eighth with a 4.65-meter jump.
