CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The No. 18 William Woods University men's golf team placed four on the All-American Midwest Conference lists and Coach Barry Doty was named the 2019 AMC Coach of the Year following the win, announced the conference office Tuesday afternoon. The awards were given following the 2019 AMC Championships. Tom North was named to the Second Team All-AMC, and Logan Smith, Philipp Heller and Tyler Fieser were named to the Honorable Mention.

Coach Doty's award is his second in as many weeks. Following the 2019 AMC Women's Golf Championships, he was tabbed the AMC Women's Golf Coach of the Year.

Sophomore Tom North was named to the Second Team All-Conference. He won the WWU Fall Invitational on September 18, 2018. He tied for second at the Cougar Classic on October 1-2 and has five top 10 finishes on the season. He averages a 74.38 round on the season.
 
Sophomore Logan Smith was named to the Honorable Mention All-Conference. His highest finish this season was at the LTU Heritage Hill Collegiate on March 23-24. He tied for third with a 140. He also has three other top 10 finishes and averages a 74.95 round.
 
Sophomore Philipp Heller has two top five finishes including a season high fourth place finish at the WWU Spring Invitational. He has two other top 10 finishes and averages a 75.05 round.
 
Senior Tyler Fieser was named to the Honorable Mention All-Conference. He has one win under his belt at the LTU Heritage Hill Collegiate on March 23-24. He has three top five finishes and four top 10 finishes and averages a 75.14 round.
