KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The William Woods University women's basketball team continues to receive votes in the latest NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, announced the national office Wednesday. 

The Owls received 28 votes, putting them just three out from the top 25.

In between the fourth and fifth polls, the Owls defeated No. 15 Columbia (Mo.) by five, 68-63. The Owls had their 11-game winning streak snapped just before the poll was released with a loss to No. 11 Lyon (Ark.).

The Owls currently sit with a 19-5 overall record with a 13-5 conference mark. They sit in fourth place in the American Midwest Conference with six games left in regular season.

Next up for the Owls is a road game at Harris-Stowe State University on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 5:30 p.m.
