ROME, Ga. – Ana Zavala, Hanna Lindeboom, Nathan Cooke and Vitek Subert from the William Woods University tennis team competed at the ITA Cup today.
 
Zavala fell on the first round of singles to Eva Siska from Georgia Gwinnet 6-4, 6-1. She will face Renee Acena from Saint Mary in the consolation bracket tomorrow on Oct. 15 at 10:30 a.m.
 
Zavala and Lindeboom were defeated by Lara Teodoro de Oliveira and Vitoria Barandas from Ave Maria 6-1, 6-3. They will face Siska and Koplova from Georgia Gwinett in the consolation bracket tomorrow on Oct. 15 at 2:30 p.m.
 
Cooke and Subert fell to Juan Ramirez and Jacobi Bain from Xavier Louisiana 6-4, 6-4. They will face Barbon and Stepanov from Southeastern in the consolation bracket tomorrow on Oct. 15 at 3 p.m.
