| Box Score 2 ROME, Ga. – The William Woods University tennis team concluded day two of ITA Cup today and the women advanced to day three of competition playing in the consolation bracket.
 
Ana Zavala defeated Renee Acena from Saint Mary 6-3, 7-6(2) on the quarterfinals of the back draw. She will face Valerie Quiceno from Montreat for a spot in the finals of the consolation draw tomorrow on Oct. 16, at 9 a.m.
 
In doubles, Zavala and Hanna Lindeboom defeated Lena Golz and Maddie Bemisderfer from Indiana Wesleyan 6-1, 6-1. They will face Aurora Novati and Thamara Pinto from Texas Wesleyan for a spot in the finals of the consolation draw tomorrow on Oct. 16, at 3 p.m.
 
Vitek Subert and Nathan Cooke fell to Barbon and Stepanov from Southeastern 6-2, 6-2 ending their participation at the tournament.
