Katie Keilholz lit up the three-point line and freshman
Sydney Booker dominated the boards in the William Woods University women's basketball team's win at Hannibal-LaGrange Thursday evening. The Owls topped the Trojans 51-29 to grab their second conference and fifth overall win.
The Owls continue their road series on Saturday, Jan. 22, at Missouri Baptist University. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.

Game Highlights
The Owls took a 7-2 lead six minutes into the game with
Sydney Booker scoring four and
Natalie Thomas scoring the other three.
Katie Keilholz hit her first three of the game to put the Owls up by six with 1:21 left to play. Neither team scored again in the quarter, ending the first 10 minutes with the Owls holding a 10-4 lead.
Keilholz put up 12 of the team's 19 points in the second quarter. She drained four three-pointers in a three-minute span, helping the Owls to a 14-0 run to take up an 18-point lead with 5:15 to play, 24-6. HLGU managed to cut the game to 11 with a 9-2 run, but a three from Makenna Wuelling ended the half to give the Owls a 14-point lead, 29-15.
Natalie Thomas started off the scoring in the second half. Kielholz broke a four-minute silence for the Owls as she put in two free throws.
Jheda Kennedy followed with a layup, and Keilholz hit her sixth three of the game to give the Owls a 21-point lead with 4:33 on the clock, 38-17. HLGU finally found the net again with 2:11 on the clock after the Owls held them scoreless for almost seven minutes. HLGU scored the final points of the quarter, sending the game into the last 10 minutes with the Owls leading 41-23.
Back-to-back scoring plays for the Owls by Wuelling and
Kasey Hazell gave the Owls a 22-point lead with 3:14 to play, 49-27, and
Taneigh Boyd scored the final points of the game with a long jumper to end with a 22-point win, 51-29.
