Box Score NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. - The No. 12 William Woods University women's tennis team swept Midway College in the second day of the NAIA Indoor National Invitational this morning. They are 1-1 on the season.

The Owls were able to take the doubles point winning all three matches at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 courts.
 
In No. 1 doubles, Ana Zavala and Hanna Lindeboom defeated Carly Poste and Paulina Moreno 6-2. Marta Calvo and Rukshika Wijesooriya teamed up at No. 2 and grabbed another win over Grace Froedge and Jasmin McClenahan, 6-3. Hannah Meyer and Allison Kowalke did not lose a single game in the match, as they defeated Delaynee Sparks, 6-0.
 
In singles, Lindeboom, Alessa Cremer, Lilla Komiszar, and Meyer all won their matches 6-0, 6-0.
 
Both Lilla Komiszar and Allison Kowalke won their matches 6-1, 6-0.

The No. 12 Owls get back on the court tomorrow on Jan. 29, at 1 p.m. vs. University of Cumberlands (KY) at the final day of the NAIA Indoor National Invitational.
