Baseball Goes 1-2 Against Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The William Woods University baseball team opened the three-game series against Columbia with a win but dropped the final two games of the series. The team improves to 23-13 overall and 10-5 in conference play.

The Owls will host Iowa Wesleyan for a doubleheader on Tuesday, Apr. 19. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
 
Game One
The Owls defeated Columbia, 5-2. Ryan Long (6-3) was credited with the win on the mound. He pitched 6.0 innings and struck out four while allowing seven hits and two runs.
