ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The William Woods University men's golf team was picked to win the American Midwest Conference according to the Preseason Coaches' Poll, announced the conference office Friday. The Owls earned 25 points.
The Owls won seven invitationals last season. They came up short in the AMC Championships last season, tying for second after the first day was suspended due to weather. Graduate
Logan Smith advanced to the NAIA National Championships and placed seventh overall.
The Owls return six players and welcome seven newcomers as well as new head coach
Aaron Murphy.
