FAYETTE, Mo. – The William Woods University men's golf team placed third out of 10 at the CMU Fall Invitational to open their fall season. The Owls shot a 297 in both rounds to score a 594 overall score. The Owls "B" team placed seventh with a 632, and all 13 members of the team competed.
Host Central Methodist won the invitational with a 580 final score.
Jack Stark tied for second with a score just one over par. He shot a 143 with a 71 round one score and a 72 in round two.
Tom Gehring tied for fifth with a 145 (72-73).

st with a 154 (76-78).
