FULTON, Mo. - (RV) William Woods University (9-2-6, 5-0-2 American Midwest Conference) outshot Missouri Baptist University (9-5-3, 4-0-3) 15-7, and Owls goalkeeper
Wil Rieves made some spectacular saves in his six-save, clean-sheet performance, as the two teams played to a scoreless draw Tuesday at North Campus Athletic Complex.

Tommy Nienhaus said. "Tough result as I felt we played well enough to get three points, especially with our second half.
"The bench was fantastic tonight. Our defense was solid and dealt with the wind well."
The first half was tight, with WWU outshooting MBU 4 (one on goal) to three (three on goal). In the second half, the Owls' attack lived up and had 11 shots (seven on goal) to the Spartans' four (three on goal).
Rieves (2-1-1) used all 6'5'' of him to make several saves en route to posting his first shutout this season.
Miles Andrews had The Woods' most attacking chances with six shots (three on goal), while
TJ Mathias (two on goal) and
David Fink (one on goal) each had three shots.
Missouri Baptist shot-stopper Pawel Wolny (4-0-2) tallied eight saves to notch his third shutout this season.
The Owls totaled 15 fouls and one yellow card, while the Spartans had 14 fouls and three yellows.
After playing its final home game of the regular season, William Woods wraps up its regular season with a trip to North Little Rock, Ark., to take on Central Baptist College (5-12, 2-5 AMC) at 4 p.m. Saturday at Centennial Soccer Park. If the Owls win the match, they will finish top of the AMC regular season table and earn the No. 1 seed for the AMC Tournament.
