Woods looked to battle back in singles play as #1 player Kristina Dimitrijevic bested her opponent to level the match score at 1-1. Samya Sikand and Hecker dropped their matchups in the #2 and #3 singles slot to grow the Bulldog lead to 3-1. William Woods etched back into the game with a huge win from #5 singles player Zara Littlejohn who defeated her opponent in straight sets. Manon Grasset in the #4 singles was the next to finish, leveling the scoreline at 3-3 with a comeback win over Laureen Van Drunen.

Leaving freshman Elise Vandewiele to square off against Eva Lesteluhu for the match point. Lesteluhu took a commanding 6-0 win in set one.
