FULTON, Mo.- In their first ever matchup, William Woods women's tennis dropped the meeting by a 6-1 scoreline against Goshen College out of Indiana.
The Owls, who are on their first three-match skid since playing at the Georgia Gwinnett Invite in 2023, did not get much going offensively in the match taking only one point. The lone WWU player to win her matchup was Chloe Hecker. The junior from Australia fell behind early before battling back to secure her singles win.
William Woods is back next week with a matchup on March 21st against Concordia (Neb.) at the Suzanne Neal Memorial Tennis Complex.
