FULTON, Mo.- William Woods University Athletics is proud to announce the addition of Sam Trezcki as Associate Director of Sports Medicine. Trezcki joins the WWU Athletic Training staff after a three-year stint at Westminster College.  

While at Westminster, Sam worked with men's and women's soccer, cheer, men's and women's wrestling, track and field, and softball. She also served as the institution's return-to-learn specialist, managed electronic medical records, and assisted with multiple head coach searches including the addition of a certified strength and conditioning coach.  

Before life as a Blue Jay, Sam spent two years at Central Methodist University, providing athletic training services for women's soccer, cheer, dance, stunt, and softball. She helped host three NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Opening Round tournaments, coordinated physician appointments and insurance needs, conducted pre-participation physicals, mentored graduate athletic training students, and maintained electronic medical documentation. Throughout her career, she has emphasized comprehensive care, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and effective communication with a diverse student-athlete population. 

Sam earned her Bachelor of Health Science in Athletic Training from the University of Missouri in 2021 and was awarded Dean's List honors in all eight semesters. She later completed a Master of Education from Central Methodist University in 2023 with a perfect 4.0 GPA. She brings a strong background in collegiate athletic training and student-athlete wellness to William Woods as the Owls prepare for their second year in Heart conference play.
