Looking Back
The Owls snapped a two-game skid and moved back above the .500 mark last time out, with a
Thomas Chadwick (Springfield, Mo.) double-double quietly pacing the team to a 73-47 win over St. Louis Christian College in Florissant, Mo. Chadwick was one of four WWU players to finish the evening scoring in double figures, as he recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds in a 16-minute outing.
Logan Decker (Kansas City, Mo.),
Dontre' Jenkins (New Madrid, Mo.) and
Jonathon Nutt (Palmyra, Mo.) also scored in double-digits on the night, with Nutt posting a team high 15.
WWU led wire-to-wire, but mustered just a .355 shooting pace in the first half for a seven-point lead. In the second half, the Owls improved to a .484 pace and put on a stifling defensive display to hold SLCC to just .286 from the floor to run out 26-point winners.
