ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Robbie McMorris (Bowling Green, Mo.) earned his fifth win of the year as the William Woods University baseball team earned a split with Harris-Stowe State University on Sunday. The Owls won the opening game of the series 7-2, losing the second game by a 2-4 count. Brian Carr (Phoenix, Ariz.) took the loss in the second game, but was solid from the plate in the opener, going 2-for-4 with a double and a stolen base. The Owls move to 18-8 (4-2 AMC) with the result and will close out the series today with a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
