FULTON, Mo. - The William Woods University women's soccer team seek to stay unbeaten in American Midwest Conference (AMC) play Tuesday night, as they look to give Missouri Baptist University its first AMC loss. Kick-off is set for 5:00 p.m. at Firley Field.
The Owls (3-4-1; 2-0-1 AMC) are coming off a stellar performance Saturday afternoon, as the team defeated Williams Baptist College 6-0. WWU amassed 29 shots on the afternoon and had five different players score a goal in the shut-out. Â

Annie Graber, got the Owls on the board first, as she scored her first goal of the season, at the 10

Jordan McNamara, got into the action at the 21
st minute with her sixth goal of the season, extending the Owls lead 2-0. The Blue Springs, Missouri native, also handed out an assist, giving her three points on the day.

The Eagles would hold WWU scoreless for the rest of the first half, however, it was a rough task, as the Owls outshot WBC 11 to one, giving the Owls a 2-0 lead at the half.

Amy Faus scored her first goal of the season at the 48
th mark, making the score 3-0 in the Owls favor.

Alex Langford found the back of the net, recording her first career goal as an Owl, expanding the Owls lead 4-0.

As the second half came to an end, Faus, would poke her second goal of the day past WBC goalie in 80
th minute, making the Owls lead 5-0. Then at the 85

Rachel Meyer connected with teammateÂ
Brittainy German, as the senior scored her third goal of the year, securing a 6-0 victory for the Owls.

WWU was led by McNamara in the shot department, as she collected six shots and a goal, while Meyer added five shots and Krispin, totaled four. Faus, a Waterloo, Illinois native, recorded her first career multi-goal game, also tallying three shots.

The Owls defense was just as strong as its offense Saturday afternoon, limiting the Eagles to only one shot in the final frame and just three total shots in the match-up.
On the season, McNamara continues to lead the Owls in several categories, which include goals (six), shots (28), points (15), and assists (three). German, is second on the team in goals with three, while
Krispin, Meyer and Faus all have contributed two goals apiece, tying them for third.
In last year's meeting, the Owls defeated the Spartans with a 2-1 come-from-behind win, giving WWU the third seed in the 2013 AMC tournament. William Woods was led by senior,
Jamie Palermo's late game heroics, as she buried the equalizing and game winning goals with less than ten minutes of play left, while she totaled a game-high nine shots on the night.
The Spartans (3-3-2; 3-0 AMC) return leading scorer, Abigell London, who posted a team-high of six goals and 15 points last year.
MBU is currently tied for the top spot in the AMC standings and are 3-3-2 overall on the season, as the team has been unbeaten in their last four games. In its last outing, the Spartans, tied with Central Methodist University 1-1 after 110:00 minutes of play. The team was led by Donna Joliliff, who recorded a game-high five shots, while Lauren Guerrero scored the Spartans only goal of the match-up.
Jolliff, a Meramec Community College transfer, leads the Spartans this season offensively, as she has recorded four goals, 17 shots and 10 points on the year. Fellow Meramec Community College transfer, Taylor Giese, leads the team in assists with four and is second on the team in points (six).
