The second day at the Joplin Tournament came the same outcome for the Owls, as the team was swept by Midland falling 4-3 in its second meeting, but then took the two game series against Benedictine College, escaping with a 3-2 win over the ravens.
In the second meeting against the Wildcats, the Owls found themselves down 4-0, however, plated three runs in the sixth inning trying to secure the come from behind win but Midland was able to hold on to the 4-3 win. Then ended the weekend with a 3-2 victory over Benedictine, as the Owls collected three runs on nine hits.
