The Owls lost to Grand View University, 5-2, in game one of the day. Phillips picked up the loss for WW.
 
In game two, William Woods responded with an 8-0 win over Midland University. Cavness threw his second complete game of the season and Phillips went 4-for-4 with four RBIs in the victory.
