Box Score NEW ORLEANS, La. – After defeating then No. 23 Evangel University, the William Woods University women's tennis team's second match did not go as well, as No. 6 William Carey University Crusaders defeated William Woods, 8-1.

"The girl's had a tough one today but I believe we will be able to bounce back and bring our A game tomorrow," said head coach Lauren Meier. "This was a great match for the team to experience and see what exactly we will need to compete with in order to make the national championship."
