FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University men's basketball team returns to action on Thursday, November 30th when they host American Midwest Conference opponent, Missouri Baptist University, to Anderson Arena. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
 
About the Owls
- The Owls enter the contest with a record of 3-5 on the season and 1-0 in the American Midwest Conference
- WWU is coming off a 79-76 loss to Haskell Indian Nations University on November 21st
- William Woods is averaging 74.5 points per game this season and are shooting 43.8 percent from the floor
- WWU has a trio of players scoring in double-figures. Leading the way is DaShaun Stark who is averaging 14.5 points per game. Darrien Dickey and Shamari Denson following averaging 13.4 and 11.9 points per game respectfully

- Darrien Dickey ranks 21st in the nation in offensive rebounds per game and field goal percentage. He is averaging 3.25 offensive rebounds per game and is shooting 60.8 percent from the field
- WWU is allowing opponents to score 77.5 points per game and shoot 44.8 percent from the floor this season
- The Owls are averaging 37.4 rebounds per game, while allowing opponents to collect 36.6 rebounds per game

- Missouri Baptist enters Thursday nights AMC contest with a perfect 7-0 overall record and 2-0 in the AMC
- MBU is coming off a 76-71 victory over Culver-Stockton on November 25th. This game was part of the Columbia College Thanksgiving Tournament
- The Spartans are outscoring its opponents by 33.5 points per game, which is the fourth best mark in the nation
- MBU is averaging 94.7 points per game this season and shooting 52.0 percent from the floor
- Leading the Spartans is Fitzgerald Hopkins, who is averaging 18.6 points per game and shooting 59.3 percent. Hopkins has come off the bench in all seven games for the Spartans
