FULTON, Mo. – William Woods University men's basketball returns to action Saturday, Dec. 1
st as they take on conference opponent RV Missouri Baptist. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Anderson Arena.
About Missouri Baptist
The Spartans enter the contest 9-0 overall and 4-0 in the AMC. They are currently sitting at the top of the list in the American Midwest Conference standings. Their last time out they defeated RV Harris-Stowe 78-59 on Nov. 29
th. Kai Woodfall led the way with 23 points and 4 assists.
Woodfall leads Missouri Baptist with 15.9ppg. He also holds three Top 10 national rankings. Woodfall's 37 made three pointers puts him at the fourth overall ranking in the nation. Shad Kimble tied the school record for 3-pt FGs made knocking down seven in the contest. He also led the game with 23 points.
Austin Curry chipped in 12 points and
Makenzie Fessler snatched down a career high 9 rebounds.
Last time against Missouri Baptist, WWU suffered a 71-52 loss on Jan. 25, 2017.
Brandon Vice led the Owls with 14 points.
Darrien Dickey followed with 9 and
Brian Enriquez chipped in 8 points and 5 rebounds.

Johnson Jr. and Curry also hold national rankings as well. Johnson Jr. ranks 13

th overall in offensive rebounds per game (2.7). Curry ranks 46
th overall in defensive rebounds per game (5.5). He also leads WWU with 58 total rebounds.
