Baseball Hosts Baker Thursday

FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University baseball team hosts Baker University as their home opener on Thursday, February 8 for a non-conference doubleheader. The two games will take place at Owl Field at 1 p.m.
 
About the Owls
- The Owls are 3-4 overall on the 2018 season
- WWU enters the contest against the Wildcats after losing a four game series against Blue Mountain College
- The Owls are currently 31st in the NAIA in stolen bases with 12 in the season. Five Owls have two stolen bases apiece
- Tyler Bracht has started all seven games for the Owls and has had 17 at bats with a batting average of .353 with six RBIs, while Patrick Dillon has appeared in five games for the Owls with nine at bats and has a batting average of .444
- Tyler Cunningham is leading the Owls in RBIs with seven. Cunningham also has two doubles and two homeruns
