FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University baseball concludes their home schedule with their series against the Hornets of Harris-Stowe State University on April 20 and 21. The Owls and Hornets meet for a doubleheader on Friday starting at 4 p.m. and a single game on Saturday at 4 p.m.

On Saturday, the Owls will honor its 10 senior members prior to the start of the contest.

- The Owls pitching staff has a team ERA of 4.17, 37th best in the nation

- The Hornets are 28-18 and are 13-10 in the AMC
- HSSU sits in sixth place in the AMC standings, a game and a half behind the Owls
- Harris-Stowe as dropped its last two ball games. It last played on April 17 when they lost to NCAA Division II University of Missouri – St. Louis, 10-4
- The Hornets are 13th in the nation in stolen bases collecting 99 in the season. Eddie McDaniels leads the team with 30 stolen bases in 35 attempts, 7th best in the NAIA

What's Next
Following the series with the Hornets, the Owls will travel to St. Louis, Missouri to face the Spartans of Missouri Baptist University on April 27 for a doubleheader to start at 1 p.m. The series against Missouri Baptist will close out the AMC season for the Owls.
