Baseball Opens Up AMC Championship On Wednesday

FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University baseball team opens the 2018 AMC Championship on Wednesday, May 2nd when they play fourth seed Columbia College at Joe Becker Stadium in Joplin, Missouri. First-pitch is set for 4 p.m.

- The 2018 AMC Championship will be contested from May 2nd-5th  at Joe Becker Stadium in Joplin, Missouri
- The AMC Championship is an eight team double-elimination field

About the Owls
- The Owls enter the AMC Tournament with a record of 29-22 on the season. They finished 17-13 in AMC play for a fifth-place finish
-The Owls have dropped four in a row entering the AMC Tournament
- On the season, the Owls have hit 90 doubles, which is 44th best in the nation
