COLUMBIA, Mo. – The 2021 American Midwest Conference Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams and top awards were announced following Thursday's championship game at Columbia College. The William Woods University team placed five on the First Team and one on the Honorable Mention.
 
Sydney Balducci, McKenzie Gourley, Rosemary Lenz, Brianna Morrow and Abby Prather-Turner each earned a spot on the All-AMC First Team, and Lauren Helmert was placed on the All-AMC Honorable Mention.

Abby Wilson was named to the AMC Champions of Character team. 
 
The Owls placed fourth in the AMC with a 7-2 conference record. The team concluded their season in the semifinals round of the AMC Championship, ending with a 12-5-1 overall record.
 

	Sydney Balducci, a junior forward from Wentzville, Missouri, played in all 18 games. She led the team in goals scored with 12 while ranking fourth in the AMC. She tallied 27 points overall and had three assists while scoring the game-winning goals against Stephens and UHSP. She ranks third in the AMC for shots with 56.
	McKenzie Gourley, a senior midfielder from Jefferson City, Missouri, played in all 18 games. She ranked second overall in points for the Owls with 12. She netted four goals including the game-winner over Midland and assisted in four. She ranks fourth in the AMC in shots with 52.
	Rosemary Lenz, a senior defender from Boonville, Missouri, played in 16 games. She helped hold the opposing teams to just 19 goals and 149 shots. She also assisted a goal.
	Brianna Morrow, a senior defender from St. Paul, Missouri, played in all 18 games. She helped hold the opposing teams to just 19 goals and 149 shots She also netted two goals and assisted in one.
	Abby Prather-Turner, a senior midfielder from Lenexa, Kansas, played in all 18 games. She tallied eight points as scored three goals and assisted two. Two of her three goals were game-winners (Avila, Missouri Baptist).
	Lauren Helmert, a sophomore midfielder from Mountain Home, Arkansas, played in 16 games. She tallied nine points with three goals scored and three assists. She netted the game-winner against Saint Mary.
