Nathan Schwartze came out with a bang as he tied the WWU game day three-point field goals record with seven.
The Owls next play at Iowa Wesleyan on Wednesday, Nov. 2. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m.

How It Happened
Darius Yohe made a statement to start the game as he slammed down a dunk following
Grant Peters' steal and assist.
Ozarks took over the lead with a 5-0 run, but a three from
Nathan Schwartze evened the score again at 11-11 with 11:53 on the clock. The Owls closed out the half with a 7-0 run after Ozarks pushed their lead to eight with 4:47 to play in the first half. The team trailed by one, 26-25.
The game had five lead changes in the first four minutes of the second half, but a layup from Peters started an 8-0 Owls' run to go up by six, 37-31. A dunk from Yohe put the Owls up by eight with 14 minutes to play, 42-34.
Spencer Yoggerst scored five points in a matter of 30 seconds to put the Owls up by nine.
Another dunk from Yoggerst and back-to-back threes from Schwartze minutes later gave the Owls a 16-point lead with 4:49 to play, 61-45.
Ozarks cut the game to seven with just under a minute to play, but Yohe scored the final points of the game on a dunk to open the season with a win, 64-55.
