Prather-Turner, Wilson Named CSC Academic All-District

The College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) announced the 2022 Women's Soccer Academic All-District award winners Tuesday afternoon, and the William Woods University women's soccer team had two, Abby Prather-Turner and Abby Wilson, earn the distinct honor.
 
To be nominated for the All-District Team, a student-athlete must have completed one full calendar year at the institution, be a starter or important reserve and hold at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average at his/her current institution.

 Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.

Abby Prather-Turner, a graduate defender from Lenexa, Kan., started in all 19 games this season. She helped hold down the back line this season while also assisting five goals. Off the field, she is working towards her Master's in Business Administration (MBA).

Abby Wilson, a senior defender from Cape Girardeau, Mo., picked up a spot on the All-AMC First Team at the finish of regular season. She helped hold down the back line in all 19 games this season while also scoring a goal and assisting another for three points. Off the field, she is majoring in English Education.
