FAYETTE, Mo. –  Quentin Webert placed first in the hammer throw, and the William Woods University men's track and field team finished in 16^th place at the CMU Invite.
 
The host CMU took the first place followed by Benedictine who placed second.

Webert placed first in the hammer with a 52.37-meter throw. He also competing in the shot put, where he placed 15^th with a 12.07-meter toss. In the javelin, he finished 13^th with a 39.35-meter throw.
 
Jacob Polacek placed 12^th in the triple jump with a 11.13-meter jump.
 
Competing in the 1500 Meter Run, Jenson Starr finished 14^th with a time of 4:19.80.
 
In the 10000 Meter Run, Jenson Starr finished second with a time of 33:29.64. Orion Parker placed eighth with a 36:14.85 time.
 
Competing in the 4x100 Meter Relay, the team was comprised of Dustin Russell, Zachary Knopf, Jacob Polacek, and Isaiah Buse. They finished ninth with a time of 48.36.
 
In the 400 Meter Hurdles, Zachary Knopf grabbed the 10^th place with a 1:06.99 time, and Dustin Russell came right behind him in the 11^th spot with a time if 1:09.23.
