ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Five members of the Men's Track and Field program competed in the 74th Annual NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships last week. Sophomore
Isiah Craighead appeared as the sole individual competitor in the javelin, while the group of
Blaine Brodersen,
Wyatt Martin,
Gabriel Soest, and
Ethan Wilson raced in the 4x800 relay.
Craighead, owner of the record distance for javelin at William Woods, displayed his tremendous talent and improvement over the course of the season in North Carolina. In his first national championship attempt, the Auxvasse, Mo. native earned a 12th place finish with a distance of 59.05 meters.
The squad of Brodersen, Martin, Soest, and Wilson earned a 22nd place finish after finishing with a time of 7:41:24, marking the end of the 2025-26 season for William Woods Men's Track and Field team.
