MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa – Isaiah Gibbs knocked down two more William Woods career records as the baseball team split at Iowa Wesleyan University on Tuesday afternoon. The Owls won game one 9-6 in an extra inning, but dropped game two 3-2.

The Owls host Hannibal-LaGrange for a three-game AMC series starting on Friday, March 31, at 6 p.m. The doubleheader will start at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 1.
- The Owls scored the final seven runs of the game including two in the top of the seventh to tie up the game and three in the top of the 10th to win it in extra innings.
- The Owls posted 13 hits with four players recording multiple hits.
- Isaiah Gibbs broke the career hits and runs record in this game as he had two hits at the plate with a double, a run scored and three RBI.
- Pitching: Carson Prescott (2-0) was credited with the win on the mound. He pitched 4.0 innings in relief. Jude Gremillion started on the mound and pitched 2.1 innings, and Logan Blumhagen pitched 3.2 innings with three strikeouts.
