FAYETTE, Mo. – The William Woods University baseball team split on the final day of the North Region Bash hosted by Central Methodist University Monday. The Owls opened the day with a 3-0 win over Saint Xaxier University (Ill.). They finished out the four-game bash with a 3-0 loss to host No. 14 Central Methodist.
The Owls went 3-1 throughout the bash. They picked up two wins over ranked opponents.
The team improves to 8-7 on the season.

- The Owls were held to just one hit – Isaiah Gibbs.
- Pitching: Ian O'Malley (0-1) was credited with the loss on the mound. He pitched 2.1 innings, faced 15 batters and struck out one. Andrew Fyffe pitched 1.2 innings and struck out two of the seven batters faced. Logan Blumhagen and Jackson Truesdell each pitched one inning. Truesdell struck out two of the three batters faced.

The Owls play a single, nine inning game at College of the Ozarks (Mo.) Tuesday afternoon starting at 2 p.m.
