WWU’s Booker & Dearing Receive All-AMC

ST. LOUIS - William Woods University's Sydney Booker (third team) and Peyton Dearing (honorable mention) were named All-American Midwest Conference, announced the conference Thursday.

For Booker, she ended her career with four All-AMC selections: third team twice (2024-25 and 2021-22) and second team twice (2023-24 and 2022-23), while Dearing made All-AMC for the first time in her second and final season in the conference. 

Brooklyn Dougherty also received an award as the Owls' Champions of Character representative.

Booker collected the second-most rebounds per game in the AMC this season, with 9.6. She scored 12 points, had two assists, made 0.6 blocks and ½ steals per game, and went 49.2% (125-254) from the field and 84.2% (85-101) from the free-throw line.

Dearing logged the sixth most minutes per game in the AMC on the campaign, with 33.8. In that time, Dearing averaged 13½ points, 2.7 rebounds, two assists, 1.1 steals and 0.1 blocks per game while shooting 36.9% (110-298) from the field, 30.6% (41-134) from deep and 82.4% (89-108) at the line.
