Rewarded for their work on the court and in the classroom, William Woods University's
Francis Okwuosah (men's basketball) and
Sydney Booker (women's basketball) earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) NAIA All-District honors for 2024-25.
To be nominated for the All-District Team, a student-athlete must have completed one full calendar year at the institution, be a starter or important reserve and hold at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA at their current institution.
Okwuosah, a senior from Atlanta, averaged 14.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 28.6 minutes per game while shooting 51.8% (172-332) from the floor, 40.2% (68-169) from deep and 81.7% (58-71) at the charity stripe in 32 games (all starts) this season.
Booker, a senior from Steelville, posted 11.9 points, 9.7 rebounds and two assists in 31.9 minutes per game while shooting 47.9% (128-267) from the field and 84.8% (89-105) at the free-throw line over 29 games (all starts) in her final campaign. In 2024-25, Booker ranked 25th in the NAIA in defensive rebounds with 202, 26th in total rebounds with 280 and 37th in rebounds per game and free-throw percentage.
CSC will announce the finalists for the CSC Academic All-America awards on April 15 for men's basketball and April 16 for women's basketball.
