Saysha Sappenfield had a stellar career on the mound for WWU, as she is the all-time leader in wins (79), saves (12), appearances (130), games started (101), complete games (74), innings pitched (675.1), batters faced (2,812) and second in strikeouts (581).

She was also a three-time All-AMC first team honoree, three-time NAIA Region V first team selectee two-time AMC and NAIA Region V Pitcher of the Year (1995, 1996), two-time NFCA All-Region first team selectee and earned NFCA All-American second team honors.
